A: There is a registration fee for participants. Non-Student: NT$ 2000/person. Student: NT$ 500/person. For early birds, you can get 20% off!

Q: What are the categories?
A: There are 4 subjects we would like to focus on Risk Prediction, Disease Progression Prediction, Prognosis Prediction and Mortality Prediction.

Q: What's the grouping method?
A: The goal is to group participants from different fields into one team so it will be 4-5 members assigned by TMU in each team. Physicians will take turns to pitch their clinical challenges and be the leads for our datathon teams. Participants are encouraged to discuss with the physicians and fill a form to list the clinical challenges in order of preference at the end of Pre-Datathon. Teams will be formed by the Datathon committee according to participants' preference and announced on 9/27.

A: Please bring a valid ID so we can verify and register you on-site! You will also need to bring and establish your workstation with anything necessary. We also recommend bringing a power strip, a sleeping bag, and some comfortable clothes.

During Datathon
Q: Will there be free food?

A: All participants are required to sign non-disclosure agreement, filming agreement and any other required agreements before the event starts.

Q: Can I use my prototype/beta model to participate?
A: Bringing any prototype/beta version with you is strongly forbidden. Every team is required to work together and start from scratch.

A: We realize that 72-hour is a long time, and that some people might have other commitments. Feel free to stay or leave as you wish. Note:
1. Access control will push between 00:00-06:00.
2. No sleeping bag will be provided, please bring your own if necessary.

Q: Will my travel be reimbursed?
A: Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide individual travel reimbursement.

Q: Do I really need to pay tax if I win the prize?
A: Yes, according to Income Tax Act, 10% of prize money over NT$20,000 is withheld for taxes. For non-resident winners, the withholding tax rate shall be in accordance with the associated regulations.
